Molds for heat sealers

Types of molds for heat sealing

The mold or molds for each machine are custom-made for each container format. Depending on the size of these formats, one, two, or more containers can be loaded per packaging cycle. In the TBG and TBG+ models, the lower mold is the same drawer that houses the tray, and in the TB2, TB4, and TB5 models, the lower mold fits into the vacuum drawer. When selecting the tray format(s) to be used, it is recommended that they conform to standard models on the market. Standard formats offer a greater variety of heights, materials, colors, and tray designs that can be used in the same mold.

Example of how the same mold, in this case for two 15x23cm trays, allows packaging two different formats

Example of how a single mold, in this case for two 15x23cm trays, allows two different formats to be packaged simultaneously (As long as they use the same type of upper film. If it is another type, they can be packaged, but not in the same cycle).

The optional easy-open corner can be fitted to one or more corners of the package. The cutting head leaves a flap for easy opening of the package.
